Oakley Dokley Tech Hustler here, in today's YouTube video we will be taking a dive into converting your helium miner to 5g as well as what else can you do with your helium hotspot miner. MNTD is looking to be the first helium miner manufacturer to offer mntd hotspot owners the ability to convert their helium miners to 5g. This is done by adding a 5g radio and antenna to the mntd hotspot miner. These kits are currently priced around $1000 usd. This will enable your hotspot to be both a lorawan and 5g hotspot. We will also take a look at mntd's new 5g miner that has other capabilities like lorawan. Also miners are starting to utilize their helium miner raspberry pi's computing power to run nodes like a flux node. When you use your helium miners raspberry pi you will no longer mine helium but you can essential use it for what ever app or node you would like to run. But before you go tearing up you helium miners, manufactures are starting to let you mine multiple coins with your helium miner. Cotx will be the first to offer what the call fleximining on their full helium hotspots. So far the list has compute coin, storj, presearch, mysterium honeygain and the earn app. You will have to pay a nominal fee to enable the miner to run new apps and nodes. But this will essentially turn your helium miner into a multi token miner or multi coin miner, whichever way you like to say it. And last I believe that many if not all helium miner manufactures will allow users to do more with their helium miner. So if you have one I would just wait and see what happens.
