JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 26:42-46
• Matt 26:42 If it be not possible - to redeem fallen man, unless I drink this cup, unless I suffer death for them; thy will be done - I am content to suffer whatever may be requisite to accomplish the great design. In this address the humanity of Christ was obvious; for it was his humanity alone that could suffer; and if it did not appear that he had felt these sufferings, it would have been a presumption that he did not suffer, and consequently made no atonement. If Jesus did not give himself to these sufferings, his sacrifice could not have been a free-will but a constrained offering, and therefore of no use to the salvation of mankind. Notice that he prayed a 2nd time in his suffering. Such prayers are done more than once.

• Matt 26:43 Can you relate to this? Notice that you can read TIME Magazine and be fine. But when you open the Bible or start to pray, your eyes get heavy. Why? Because Satan knows there is power in prayer and profit in Bible study. He doesn't care if you're reading the newspaper. But read the Word or pray, and you can count on your eyes getting heavy, the telephone ringing, the baby crying, and your stomach rumbling. This also happens when you kneel by the couch in prayer and find yourself "resting in the Lord". At such times, you could go for a walk and pray along the way. It's much tougher to fall asleep when you're walking!

• Matt. 26:44-46 Understanding their humanity and frailty, Jesus looked at His disciples and said, "Sleep on." But while His disciples were sleeping, His enemies were plotting. You can always be sure of that. There are meetings in hell to cause havoc in your family, your ministry, your occupation, and your marriage. Keep that in mind next time you opt for sleep over prayer. It's not that the Lord condemns you for lack of prayer. It's that the Enemy will exploit the situation. You see, prayer is not only for petition. It's also for protection. When you pray, there is a wall of protection round about you, your family, your ministry, and your marriage that is absent when you fail to pray. Jesus didn't collapse in this moment of temptation. The disciples did. He was praying. They were sleeping. Jesus could rise because He had been kneeling. You are able to stand before your enemies when you kneel before our Father.

Father, by the power of the Holy Ghost, empower my Spirit, Soul and Body to be victorious in the face of trials.
1 Thess. 5:23
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I declare over me and my household today that the yoke and burden of death over us is broken. So shall it be for me and my household today in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
