The Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan signed a joint declaration
Putin and Tokayev adopted a document following talks in Moscow:
Russia and Kazakhstan intend to increase the CSTO's potential and improve the fight against modern threats.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that there are topics in relations with Russia that require negotiations, but Astana does not dramatize the current situation. Tokayev said this at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The President of Kazakhstan noted that he also informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about the existence of such issues, with whom he had a meeting earlier.
"Yes, there are issues that require additional coordination and even negotiations. In particular, we are talking about the gas sector," Kassym—Jomart Tokayev told the Russian Prime Minister . However, in this regard, "we are not dramatizing," Tokayev said.
