OS Remastered is a fan made Old School Runescape client that basically converts Old School Runescape to the Unity game engine, this results in stunning Ultra HD graphics with dynamic weather effects but with the same classic gameplay that people love about OSRS,
This client is being developed by one developer as a passion project and he eventually wants to add all the quality of life updates that people enjoy from other clients such as Runelite.

What do you think about OS Remastered? would this client convince you to play or try Old School Runescape if you haven't tried it before or is the gameplay the reason you don't wanna try it? let me know in the comments below!

---OS Remastered Developer FAQ---

How?
My client is not a traditional java wrapper/extension client, instead mine is written in the Unity engine.
I convert the original java gamepack to C#, and extend upon it with a custom renderer.

Does it work with RuneLite?
It does not, however I will be adding plenty of plugins.

When?
I am beginning a small early access bug-test, a full release date is uncertain, but I will keep the channel updated.

What will it look like?
My client will have many different graphical options, something for everyone.
Ultra HD, 2011 era HD, and enhanced vanilla (High FPS/Optimised rendering).

Once you are finished reading through the FAQ react with a :thumbsup: to view the rest of the channels!

Mac/Linux?
Yes, but not in these early stages of development.

Who?
Just me, I'm enjoying developing this project as a sole developer, if that ever changes I will reach out!

Donations?
Thank you, but as of right now there are no donations :)

2008/2011 models?
If I get explicit permission from Jagex, yes. Otherwise I will be smoothing and texturing models dynamically.

Open source?
Open source has its complications, I want to do right by Jagex, and releasing the tools I've created for this project would not impress them.
