Final Fantasy XIV is a game that I've never been able to get into, in the past I approached it the same way I did any other MMO, ignore the story and rush to end game, needless to say I didn't enjoy it and dismissed the game but after seeing so many content creators that I watch and respect get into it that's lead me to think I have approached the game completely wrong in the past, so here's me taking the advice of thousands of people and giving the game another shot, I'll be playing it through to the latest expansions MSQ and reading EVERYTHING, which requires a bit of brain reprogramming on my end as it's not something I'm used to, I loved FF8 and FF10 back in the day so I'll be comparing FFXIV to other Final Fantasy games rather than MMOs, taking it slow and immersing myself in the story, in doing this I hope I'll be able to enjoy an MMO for something other than end game features and appreciate the journey more.
