In this episode, Dr. Patricia puts a spotlight on IODINE. You will learn how this element is essential for thyroid and breast health and what other elements you probably come in contact with DAILY that interfere with your absorption and use of this key element.
Hint: If you take a shower, brush your teeth or eat bread daily, you are probably ingesting elements that are conflicting with your iodine being used effectively in your body.
Dr Patricia will reveal what sources are ideal and how to discern what is the right dose for you. Over supplementation of iodine can have diminishing returns and even lead to serious health problems. Know the signs!
If you are getting iodine from seaweed consumption, Dr Patricia will give you tips on what to look for when purchasing seaweed at the grocery store or in a restaurant. You will never look at seaweed the same.
Balance is important in life and when it comes to your iodine levels, being in the “Goldilocks” zone is crucial.
