It's been just over 3 months since my last Ashes Of Creation video which covered the massive announcement that the game was upgrading from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5 bringing with it better graphics, better optimization capabilities as well as a more efficient development pipeline.
Only 3 months later and we've already got another massive progress update for Ashes this time with the games first look at its Alpha 2 character creator which has some of the most amazing character customization options I've seen in an MMORPG, yes, It's on par with or better than Black Desert Online even with a lot of presets still missing imo.

What do you think about recent progress shown with the character creator, are there any features missing that you'd like to see added later on? which of the game's 9 races do you reckon you'll pick for launch?

Alternatively, stick with civilization and safety in numbers – purchase a home within the confines of a village and watch your investment grow as that village turns into a city. Homeowners in our game will have the ability to develop their plot of land as they see fit. Focus on farming, animal husbandry, or own your very own smithy. You’ll be able to specialize your land to maximize your profits or your comfort, be sure to choose wisely

Questing in our world combines the best elements of traditional MMO’s as well as the introduction of our unique player driven experiences. Ashes of Creation offers area quests, public quests, and quest chains that change dynamically and in real time based on the player’s experiences and choices.
