Bad Ideas In the Workshop Episode 7 / Workshop Fails

Many woodworkers after years and years of woodworking can spot either things that don't work or things that have the potential to go wrong in the workshop, often, like me, because they have either tried them or something similar, like the Plexiglas shield that could be used to cover a crosscut sled on a table saw, (which has the potential to be unsafe) or like using pipe clamps as the base for a slab flattening jig (pipe clamps can and do bend), something simple like a DIY doweling jig, which wears out quickly or shops made wood filler which is not a great choice if you plan to stain or dye the wood.
Just a few of the woodworking techniques for shop safety that others can learn from those of us who have worked with these things in the past. Woodworking safety rules are good to follow so you don't bad day at work. Check out my other videos for woodworking safety tips.
