Google and the State of Massachusetts are defendants in a new class action lawsuit alleging they installed COVID contact tracing software on over 1 million Android smart phones without the owner's knowledge or consent. The app hid itself so users would not be aware the software had been installed and it tracked not only users physical locations but also everyone who they were in contact with who also had a phone infected with the state sponsored spyware.
