How to guitar SOLO like a pro!

When guitar soloing you want to think of 3 things. Scales, Melody and Technique.

-Scales: A guitar solo is compressed raw expression. A big factor in creating a sonically appealing solo is playing in the same key as the backing track. This will ensure that the notes you play will sound nice and correct with the song regardless of what you’re playing.

-Melody is a flow and is what will keep the listeners drawn in to listen for more! It’s important to incorporate low notes and high notes; fast notes and slow notes. A nice melody will ensure that there’s a flow to your solo. An audio story of ups and downs!

-Technique is important because it will turn a regular note into something much more spicy to hear! Learning how to do bends, vibratos, tremolos, legatos, slides, sweep picking, palm muting, etc. will really define your playing style. This sets you apart from everyone else who plays guitars!
