Extreme sports: Moab Monkeys slackline, base jump from hammock floating 400ft above the desert
1 year ago
The latest installment of the Utah adrenaline-seeking group, “Moab Monkeys” is a 2,000 sq ft hammock in the sky dubbed The Mothership Space Net.
On Thanksgiving weekend the group worked together to hand sew and assemble the hammock which was later spread across the Moab Desert sky 400 feet from the desert floor.
Members of the group took turns slacklining and base jumping from the net.
This hammock on steroids was created by the brainchild of world renowned slackliner Andy Lewis who goes by the nickname “Sketchy Andy”.
