To Leawood & Back Home - August 21st, 2022

This is a video of a drive I took in my Miata out to Leawood for a family lunch. It was a nice warm partly cloudy day with the wind blowing. Along my route I drive through downtown Overland Park, and I drive by my old Nallwood Junior High School. I also take a quick detour to drive the curvy street, which is at West 100th Street, which flows right into West 101st Terrace. Then I drive up Nall Avenue and pass Top Golf and Shawnee Mission South High School. I detour once again and drive through Park Place shopping mall. Unfortunately my camera battery runs down and dies when I am on 119th Street.
I charge the battery up while eating, and resume recording my drive back home. On the way home I drive by my Mom & Dads old house on 143rd Street. I then pass by The Church of the Resurrection. And then I do a quick drive through Prairiefire shopping area before driving through Corbin Park and by the front of Scheels. I take 135th Street over to Antioch Road, and proceed North. Before I can reach 95th Street, my camera battery again dies on me, before I can reach home. All in all, it was a good day.
