Baptisms and Fellowship

Baptism is a vital partaking of any born again follower of Jesus Christ. We are baptized in obedience to the words of the Lord. We follow Christ’s example in all our walk.
I had been baptized prior to today…but it became heavy on my heart the question of had I truly been baptized as Christ would have me baptized?? Was it by men following after Baal or men following the doctrine of Christ? I was convicted that the baptism I had years before was done by apostate pastors…glorifying self and increasing their own pursuits …not the pursuit of righteousness. David Carrico has done several teachings on FOJCradio.com and on NYSTV regarding the importance of baptism. I couldn’t think of a better group of men and women to be surrounded by and baptized by than those who were present. Thankful for all the Lord has done and is doing in our lives and the brothers and sisters in Christ we are so blessed to know and walk with. If you haven’t been baptized…get yourself scheduled and do so asap! It is commanded of us all who have put on the new man and are being refined by the Lord, our savior, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. ***side note: I said lemon ricotta pound cake. It was orange ricotta pound cake. 😂. You say oranges I say lemons. 🤷‍♀️
