I bought this old Dodge pickup from a former co-worker, and actually had it running shortly thereafter for the first time to test the engine (seen in the vid). Wheels, rims and tires were replaced, reproduction fuel tank, lots of work on the brake drums (a *nightmare* on these series of trucks), new oak paneling doors, reupholstered seat, and a new water pump scrounged from a scrap heap of wrecked cars along the banks of the Yellowstone river. The truck is quite fun, if not a bit challenging, to drive. Definitely for small town, slow speed cruising - anything above 45 MPH starts to get a bit... spooky.
I gave the truck to my niece a few years ago for her High School graduation, and she will pass it to my nephew, for his. It was great fun rebuilding it.

For the Aussie audience, you may recognize this vehicle and say, "Wait, that's not a Ute!!" - And you would be correct! The chassis, front end, and other elements of the vehicle were used, while (I think) the cab and Ute Bed, were supplied by a local Australian company, the name of which slips me in the moment, but I am sure a commentator will know the answer.
