Sesame Chicken & Broccoli | ONE PAN MEAL

“One Pan-One Pot” dinners really help keep the heat down on a scorching day. It’s also a bonus if you only have to clean one pan or pot. This sesame chicken is amazing served over rice. - Michele

In a large frying pan add:
1 Tb olive oil
1 Tb sesame oil
1 1/4 lb chicken breast
Sauté chicken in oils until browned and 165 degrees. Set aside.

In same pan over medium heat add:
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 TB Honey
2 TB Hoisin Sauce
2 tsp garlic chili sauce
2 tsp ground ginger
Stir to combine, bring to a boil for 1 minute, add cornstarch slurry & whisk to combine.

Mix together in a cup:
2 tsp cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp cold water
Allow to thicken 2-3 minutes whisking constantly.

Add:
5 cups of fresh broccoli cutlets and all of chicken, toss to coat with sauce, reduce heat, cover & simmer 5 minutes until broccoli is crisp tender. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
