WHY IS EVERY SIN AGAINST GOD?

Why is EVERY sin a sin against God? Sin is a transgression against the law of God (1 John 3:4) and rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7; Joshua 1:18). Sin originated with Lucifer (God changed his name to Satan after he brought sin to the human race in the Garden of eden.) Sin has been and continues to be handed down through all generations of mankind, including you and I. "For just as through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous" (Romans 5:19).
