Marcus Rashford thanks his 'idol' Cristiano Ronaldo after Manchester United exit

Marcus Rashford paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday after the Portuguese superstar mutually agreed a termination of his contract with Manchester United.

"It's been an unbelievable experience to play with him," said Rashford. "He's one of my idols and someone I've always looked up to."

The 25 year-old forward also accepted that fans were justified in booing England after their dull goalless draw with USA on Friday.

"We don't need fans to boo us for us to know that we have not played as well as we could have," he said.
