It was a hot summer day and the delivery driver had just made a stop at the local grocery store. He was on his way to make a delivery when he saw two women standing in front of the shop. The driver started talking to them and it quickly became clear that he was interested in one of the women.The driver neglected to apply the handbrake as he talked to the women and eventually, the truck started rolling down the street. The driver continued talking, not realizing that his truck was slowly moving away from him. Eventually, the truck rolled into the street and hit a parked car. The driver finally realized what was happening and ran over to stop his truck. Luckily, no one was hurt but it served as a lesson for the driver to always be aware of his surroundings.

A delivery driver is seen on security footage from a wayside residence, with one side of the crate door open. The truck rolled into the street slowly as the driver conversed with two women in front of the shop; the handbrake was likely left off.The video demonstrates how neglecting to apply the handbrake can negatively affect the driver. "Prudence is the issue, whether you're being unprofessional or professional. Professional drivers occasionally exhibit more subjectivity, which may easily cause issues due to forgetting to set the handbrake, can cause some accidents and even be fatal," the Facebook account stated following the viewing of the video."It serves as a lesson for the truck driver in life. Never be judgmental, particularly if the parking place is skewed as it appears in the video. Do not assume that stepping out of the automobile briefly excuses you from applying the handbrake.
