Please enjoy this video about 3 Leadership Tips for Men in their 20’s and Men Looking to Become Leaders. I have spent over two decades in a variety of leadership roles. I have been around bad leaders, good ones and a few great ones. The great leaders are truly remarkable, and I have found that success leaves clues. We can learn from these steps that great leaders have left.
Early in my 20’s I began a career as a personal trainer and football coach. I began to understand how valuable learning leadership skills could be to create positive outcomes for others. As a child, I had a variety of “leaders” in my life; however, most of them did a poor job in their role as a leader.
When I was in my 20’s I started my first business, and I wanted to learn how to become a better leader. I started to read books by John Wooden, Seth Godin, Brian Tracy, and few others. These got me started in the right direction of becoming a leader while I was in my 20’s.
Later on, I continued to learn and started enlisting the help of other mentors, attending retreats and seeking support wherever I could. I soon realized that true leaders are crafted over a period of time. They often have traveled a long and hard road to get where they are today. Leaders are made – not necessarily born.
