Let's Play Super Mario Land 2 DX. SML2 DX is a Rom Hack for the original game boy game that adds color, improves the framerate, and adds smoother controls to Super Mario Land 2. It makes SML2 my favorite gameboy game above the Pokemon Series. I'd hazard to say its my favorite mario game of all time!

I never played Super Mario Land or it's sequel as a kid. I never had any nintendo handheld systems except for the Super Game Boy which was an SNES Add-On. Not portable. I also had the Pokemon Stadium add on that let me play Pokemon Red, Blue, & Yellow on my TV and trade pokemon with myself!

Hi. I'm Jack. I am a horror author and have been a YouTuber since 2008 under many different brand names and IDs. You might have known me as Johnny Fox, FoxDie Gaming, or simply Jack Pierce. I've been making gaming content since 2008 and was originally inspired to start by watching Cool World by Clementj642. I watched his mega man playthroughs at least a dozen times and loved every second of that content.

I then found The Spoony One aka Spoony who was my favorite video game reviewer and always wanted to do a comedy sketch show like he did. I loved Final Fantasy 8 and still do but his review of it always made me laugh and made me learn to not take criticism of my favorite stuff so seriously.

Of course the AVGN has had some influence on me and I promise you the anger that you hear on the video is 100% genuine. It's more frustration than anger at the video games and rom hacks. Frustration that I am screwing up and having to repeat the same thing over and over. Also the fact that you have to watch that which is annoying to you I'm sure.
