To this area of Pasadena homes were being built and torn down for the sake of common utility. A few have survived. And this collection even has a real staircase taking out of house before it was torn down in the modern day. They are known for the Gamble House in Pasadena. Use to be own by one of the business folks of Proctor and Gamble. It still stands. And this is one. A few are still around much like Frank Lloyd Wright.
