Releasing Lake Sturgeon in the Tittabawassee River!

Today we had the opportunity to release a lake sturgeon in the Tittabawassee River through an event organized by the Chippewa Nature Center and the Saginaw Bay Watershed Lake Sturgeon Reintroduction Program. The sturgeon released today will hopefully be spawning in the same area 15 to 20 years from now and can live many years beyond that!
