Unfortunately, over the years it has become more common for tourists to feel like coming to sin city is a scam and a rip off. There have been a lot of changes in Las Vegas from its early days. Prices of flights, food, shows, clubs, etc. all becoming more expensive, more concerns about safety and the crime rate, and seeing more homeless people in the tourist corridor (the strip and downtown Fremont Street Experience area) are just some of the things that have people concerned about the value of visiting Las Vegas. Add in high inflation and concerns about the overall U.S. economy, and it's understandable that Vegas may be in for some rough years ahead.
