Military affairs: Will America and NATO be able to fight a ground war with Russia?

The accusation is constantly made that the American Forces are superior to that of Russia and that they will win a war with Russia. On the flip side the Pro Russian commentators state that American and NATO forces are not able to fight a ground war with Russia and therefor will not let things go that far........ etc, etc. .......
Well I disagree with that assessment because neither side fully understands matters correctly and argue from a biased point of view. When WW3 breaks out .... if it breaks out ..... then all bets are of the table and every nation will go into a war footing, mobilizing its industry and resources for it. It is currently not the case since we still have a pure capitalist and profits orientated industry and the focus is still much wider .... on the whole world scene.
