Making Sugar Bricks for Bees in the Freeze Dryer | Winter Bee Feeding | Harvest Right Freeze Dryer

An excessively dry year and possibly the stress of moving our bees from Florida to Kentucky have left them with dangerously low honey stores. In order to survive their first Kentucky winter, our bees will need a supplemental food source. We're making Sugar bricks as an emergency food source to help our bees survive the winter. Sugar bricks are usually dehydrated, but we're making them rather unconventionally in the freeze-dryer! This quick and easy way to make sugar bricks worked amazingly with absolutely no puffing!
