As Ukraine plunged into darkness after Russian attacks on power facilities that have damaged 40 percent of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure since October 10, people have been using candles to light their homes and workplaces.
In the city of Dnipro, which remained completely dark as a result of the Russian attacks on 23 November, the electricity came back on Friday.
In some neighbourhoods which are still without power, people light their homes using generators or batteries. Most civilians are using candles in their dark homes.
