Koch discusses environmental comics from a critical and creator’s perspective. She speaks on experiments in her own process and story-building process as well as pedagogical potentials.

Aidan Koch is an artist living and working in the Mojave Desert of Southern California. Her work crosses into installation, animation, and sculpture, but keeps a foundation in comics and graphic storytelling. She has released several graphic novels including Xeric award winning The Blonde Woman (2012) and recently released Stone Blue Sky (2021). Koch has a BFA in illustration from PNCA and an MFA in interdisciplinary art from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
