How To Cook Mackerel Fish in The Oven | How to Cook Sardines in The Oven | Granny's Kitchen Recipes

In this video I will show you how to cook mackerel fish and sardines in the oven. Delicious, easy and quick fish cooking recipe in the oven.

INGREDIENTS:

3 mackerels and / or sardines ( I have both in my dish )
1 garlic head
1 bell pepper
1 onion
jalapeno peppers (optional)
3 tbsp capers in brine
3 roasted peppers
all purpose seasoning
ground pepper
salt
oil

DIRECTIONS:

Add oil in a baking dish. Make sure the fish is gutted. Add the fish in, add salt on the fish, all purpose seasoning and ground pepper. Rub the seasonings on the fish, then add the sliced bell pepper, add a few
slices of onion inside the fish as well, add the chopped garlic, add roasted pepper, add the sliced jalapeno peppers ( depending on how spicy you like the dish, you can skip this otherwise), add the capers and bake in the oven at gas mark 7 until the fish is golden in colour.
You can serve with pasta. I used 3 packets of pasta and sauce which I cooked according to the directions on the packs and I also added chipotle powder for a chilli kick to the pasta.
Cook the fish in the oven on Gas mark 7, for around 30 minutes or until the fish is golden in colour. Really easy!
