Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar has informed his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu that Ankara will continue responding to attacks from northern Syria. This comes after Russia urged Turkey to refrain from launching a full-scale offensive in Syria. "Turkey's priority is to prevent the terrorism threat (from northern Syria) permanently," Akar added.
