My Goat TRICKED Me! // Baby Dairy Goat Born on the Farm

The first fall goat baby is here on the homestead! Our doe, Juniper, was bred to Sage and Stone Homestead’s Havoc and he did not let us down – the newest goat kid is adorable. We also work the goat herd with CD&T vaccine, copper bolus, and hoof trimming.

Fall kidding season has officially kicked off and Juniper has been a great first time momma. Of course, it wasn’t without a little drama and she made us think her baby was coming a day earlier than it did. Being prepared is never a bad thing, though, and by the time Juniper freshened we were ready.
