A History of Black Leaders Who Died Fighting Racism
Martin Luther King Jr. isn’t the only prominent leader who died fighting for the Black community. Many more were assassinated while serving the same cause.
In Part I of The Rise and Fall of the Black Community, you’ll learn more about Black leaders who paid the ultimate price in pursuit of equality. These organizers and activists were so effective that they were seen by racists as threats that needed to be silenced.
We must not only honor their work and remember their names but continue carrying out their missions. It’s up to us to ensure that the death of these leaders is not in vain.
