Cartridge Corrosion Removal Tools for Video Game Repairs: See Description

Many game cartridges on all platforms have become corroded. Some so much so that they grow deposits along the edge connector pins and sometimes even on the perfboard material, visible between the pins which you will see in this video.

Here are some cheap tools you can search for; some may already be in your possession:
-91% Isopropyl alcohol
-Fiberglass pen/ Scratch brush (magic erasers are affective too)
-Any multimeter or just one of the probes/ dental pics
Vinger breaks that stuff up too but I did not use it in this video. Let it soak in that stuff and it should come right off. If not, then resort to the tactics in this video.

This same cartridge was "cleaned" in a very aggressive and destructive manner several years ago just to get it to work, which it actually did. I stopped the "cleaning" once it started working. Like torture tactics lol.
It lasted for quite some time although I noticed recently it has not been feeling well.

Here is this Super Game Boy's first cleaning (roached) video:

I never use the sandpaper (1000 grit) on game carts anymore and haven't for quite some time now. I don't want to take down the older video so it's nice to "right a wrong" with this new video, while using the very same cartridge.
As destructive as the sandpaper was, the pins held up quite nicely through it all.
