And a lot of things don’t add up anyway. As you can see from the movie, even from the trailer, the actresses, the abused ones, or better “the accusers” and the journalists regularly meet if not in office, in restaurants, or at cafès tables to discuss very important things, like Project Veritas, so why when they had to meet Weinstein they didn’t find it “strange” they had to go up and meet him in the bedroom? If it is so normal to meet in bedrooms to discuss work and it’s me thinking badly? Of course they knew or they thought he wanted to have sex:
This seems very much an effort to scare heterosexual people from meeting for sexual encounters because it’s too dangerous for the man. Everything Weinstein does is to invite women in a hotel bedroom, where they freely go (and it’s untrue or unlikley they don’t imagine he wants tro have sex, I would) and then once in the room he tries to do some preliminaries with them, I don’t see anything particulalry strange in this. Even if there is a misunderstanding they could make it clear, it seems instead that they went on swallowing the stone for years waiting for “the call to work for Miramax” that didn’t arrive. And now they sue, but… on what legal basis can Weinstein be condemend? How do you know it’s rape?
