One dead and one rescued after hiking Zion National Park

The National Park Service says a married couple was on a permitted 16-mile hike in an area called "The Narrows." But overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, the weather dropped to 19 degrees, and the couple started to experience hypothermic symptoms. The man left his wife to go get help but she was found unresponsive by the time the rescue team could get to her. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
