保養攝護腺! 男生必吃「茄紅素」

男生一旦到了50歲,患上攝護腺肥大的機率就大大增加,當男士開始感覺到尿不乾淨、頻尿、夜尿等都是攝護腺肥大的徵兆;到了80歲,甚至有8成的男性都會面對攝護腺肥大的問題。
台灣泌尿科醫師戴定恩指出:男生吃茄紅素可避免攝護腺肥大、減少精子的異常數目、以及降低攝護腺癌的發生率。而番茄就是最好的茄紅素來源,建議男士們趁年輕時趕快保養起來,使用以下方法以更有效率的攝取茄紅素:
1.挑選紅色的番茄
成熟的紅番茄比青色番茄含有更豐富的茄紅素,挑番茄時記得選紅番茄,才能吃進更多茄紅素;
2.打成番茄汁
將番茄打成果汁,可透過榨汁過程破壞番茄細胞壁,讓更多茄紅素被釋放出來,有助於人體吸收;
3.與油脂一起攝取
茄紅素屬於脂溶性營養素,與油脂食物如橄欖油、堅果、肉品一起食用,更有助於被人體吸收;
4.煮熟來吃
番茄加熱後才能破壞纖維結構,釋放出茄紅素,幫助人體吸收;煮熟後的茄紅素,會從不易吸收的「反式茄紅素」轉換為容易吸收的「順式茄紅素」。
戴定恩建議大家可以多用番茄入菜,像是番茄炒蛋、茄汁義大利麵都是健康又美味的好選擇。
