One of those companies was called Eplata, a digital banking platform for undocumented migrants. Hunter Biden introduced the founder of the company to Joe Biden and the company received the Mexican governments endorsement. The startup describes itself as a “multi-balance, multi-currency digital wallet and payment ecosystem”.
