In this introductory episode Hannah joins me to talk about the things she's learnt over the years as a home schooling mother, and how home schooling is nothing like contemporary mainstream schooling as one would know it.

We recorded this introduction as the first in a series of nine and at the time we were vaguely thinking we'd create a new channel. Because neither of us have done this before, we continued to think the content would be hosted here, until the week after we'd finished recording. Therefore each episode is introduced as being on 8 News. We live and learn don't we? Now that confusion is out of the way, Hannah and I are so pleased to announce our new premium channel 'It's a Human Thing'. Season one of our home schooling episodes take a deep dive into the different methods of home schooling, curriculum choices, love languages, relationships, financial stress and how families can survive in this modern era.
