2022/23 HYUNDAI GRANDEUR (AZERA) EV

The next-generation Hyundai Grandeur features retro-styled sedan styling on the side with square windows and old-fashioned rear glass, as seen in this test prototype. At the front, Hyundai relies on an innovative design influenced by the Staria. Informal digital sketches suggest a continuous light bar - “welcome lights”, a large grille with hexagonal structures, and rectangular daytime running lights surrounding the headlights. The original Grandeur had the rear side glass panel removed, which appeared in the Grandeur Heritage Concept and was carried over to the new Hyundai Grandeur. In addition, the Grandeur EV’s rear light elements should take the form of their ancestors, but are only finished with LEDs. With a flat roofline, straight waistline, vertical rear quarter glass and angular windows with taller, flatter roof, which requires extra headroom in the rear.
