The Do's and Dont's on a Dead Valley Roof

There is a common misconception that some homeowners have about their dead valley roofs. Shingles don't generally belong on a dead valley since a dead valley has very little incline, which in turn slows the rate that water drains off the roof. Shingles have screws and the standing water could leak through the screws or rust them over time. A rubber membrane is the most efficient way to avoid any issues with a dead valley roof.
