On November 19, Rishi Sunak, the prime minister of the United Kingdom, paid his first visit to Kiev. He visited with Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, and assured him of the UK's support for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. In his first trip to Kyiv since taking office, the UK prime minister met with Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, and pledged £50 million in defense assistance.
