Many people in the US realize by now that everything their government tells them is a lie, but many refuse to let go of the fables that they fed them as a child from their history books. One of the greatest travesties in human history, the methodical, ruthless, and, cowardly, near extermination of North American Indigenous peoples, is literally being erased from the history books. US children are being taught that the Natives just left voluntarily.

I could insert anyone of dozens of poigniant cliches here, but you know them already. Instead, I will share my direct experiences in the Amazon as a witess to the continued exploitation of Indigenous people.
