Truck Hits Downed Power Lines Creating Explosion -- Cop Escapes Just In Time

"Officers working a single-vehicle crash attempted to stop a motorist to keep them from striking downed power lines. The driver did not see the officer and struck the power lines causing the utility pole and power lines to break narrowly missing the officer and striking his patrol vehicle," stated the Cookeville Police Department, regarding a video they released on Tuesday on their Facebook page. The incident took place in Cookeville, Tennessee.
