Sam Sorbo - Is Home Education the Answer to Our Broken State System?

Many of us are becoming increasingly concerned at the state of our education system and In America home education is a popular choice.
Our guest this episode is Sam Sorbo, Sam is a high-profile advocate and campaigner of home education and over the years she has written numerous books, set up websites and run courses to help parents through the journey of removing their child from the state school system.
Most people have gone the easy route of handing their children to the state to be taught whatever the government want, and parents have little or no input.
But there is a better way.
One that could have a huge influence on how our children grow up academically, emotionally and spiritually and that is home education.

Sam Sorbo is an Education Freedom Advocate and an expert on Home Learning.
She hosts the ‘Underground Education’ community which is focused on viewing education through the lens of family, faith and freedom.
Sam is also an author, podcast host, writer, producer and actor, is host of the nationally syndicated ‘The Sam Sorbo Show’ and speaks publicly around the country.
After high school in Pittsburgh, PA, Sam studied biomedical engineering at Duke University before pursuing a career in modelling which offered her the chance to travel and learn languages.
(She is fluent in five!)
Sam moved to Los Angeles for acting, where dedication and perseverance gained her roles in several films and TV shows, including Chicago Hope and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
Hercules introduced her to Kevin Sorbo, who swept her off her feet. They married in 1998.
