Over a three year period I consistently made the journey to work with the sacred plant medicine Ayahuasca. During this time, I learned some valuable lessons. I learned to work with sacred plant medicines like Ayahuasca, it is important to integrate the experience as much as possible. What do I mean by integration? I found it helpful to take what information I was shown while working with the sacred plant medicine and look how I could "integrate" those experiences into my life. This allowed me to get the most from my time with Ayahuasca.
From there, I learned it is so important to have the right mindset going in. Do your research is a real thing. Researching for two years helped me to prepare for the experience and to feel comfortable working with the sacred plant medicine.
Lastly, I found it very helpful to work in a safe setting. Working within a container that is supported by professionals and experienced leaders is critically important and so helpful.
