This is a fairy tale about a cute child with a beautiful pearl necklace. Minnu was a sweet, sweet and beautiful girl of six. She was an adorable child as she always obeyed her elders. Minnu's parents loved her for her amazing behavior. One day Minnu's mother went shopping with her. As they walked past the shops, Minnu spotted a cute pink plastic bead necklace! She asked her mother to buy her a necklace. Her mother told her it cost a penny. She asked her to work so Minnu could get some money for every job she did so she could buy herself a pink necklace. Minnu made a to-do list and helped her mother with everything. Her mother was very happy and paid enough money to buy a pink necklace. Minnu loved to buy a necklace and wore it anytime and anywhere except for bathing. Her mother said that if she wore them to swim, her neck would turn pink and her pearls would lose their luster. But the rest of the time Minnu wore it, even when she slept. Minnu's father often told her bedtime stories. One night, when she finished her story, her father asked her how much she loved him. Minnu replied, "You know how much I love you." Papa asked: "Then give me your pearl necklace!" Minnu replied: "Please dad, I love you so much, but please don't ask for these beads. I'll give you the pink barbie you bought me a month ago." Dad said, "Okay, honey." A few days later, Minnu and her father repeated their conversation. Once again, Minnu refused to give her the pearl necklace and asked her father to take her pet instead. Dad kissed her and left with a smile. This was repeated several times. One day Minnu fell asleep while her father was reading her a story. She held a necklace in her hands. Her father took the pearl necklace from her hand. The next moment she woke up and asked: "Dad, what are you doing?" Dad quickly opened the jewelry box by her bed and handed her a real, precious pink pearl necklace. He said, "Honey, this is your real necklace. At least I wanted to take the fake one to give you the real one." She replied, "Thanks, Dad!" Minnu promptly exchanged the fake necklace for a real one.
God wants us to give up all the fake and cheap things we consider very precious in our life. It can be habits, hatreds, harming relationships, activities, negative thoughts, etc. God will provide us with genuine things if we give up the fake one!
