Former world-class cyclist and athlete Mary Verrando-Higgins qualified for three consecutive Olympics after competing with the U.S. National Cycling Team. She has since retired from the sport, and Mary Verrando Higgins plans to focus the rest of her career on fine art. After graduating, she spent many years as a professional artist.
