COE premiums for small cars cross $90,000 mark

In the latest bidding exercise for November, Certificate of Entitlement premiums for commercial vehicles jumped 7.2% to hit an all-time high of $81,802. COEs for smaller cars in Category A rose to $90,589 -- nearing their highest in 10 years. However, prices across all other categories slipped. Premiums for larger cars and electric vehicles in Category B dipped slightly by $1,507 to $113,881. COEs in the Motorcycle and Open categories fell by $600 and $2,568 respectively.
