Pastured Pig Farm in the Philippines | Documentation VIdeo

A small scale farm founded and designed by Marc Neil Simora Ladio. The farm systems were inspired by Polyface Farms and Justin Rhodes' vlogs. This farm is a contrast to the conventional way of raising hogs in the Philippines. By using electric fencing, pigs are trained and introduced to the pasture where they forage and add value to the land. They will spend most of their time rooting, wallowing, and eating bugs and grubs. Their diet consists of cabbage scraps from the local market and non-certified home-made organic feed.
Our farm and feed systems are currently under development since it was established last August 2020. Our first batch of pigs (the pigs in the video) are Large Whites. After harvest, we will shift to Philippine Native pigs and continue to adapt our current technology and learn new ways to pasture pigs in the Philippine climate and environment.
