The Pilgrims' Story of Thanksgiving

A special Thanksgiving 2022 video from Liberty Sound, celebrating the rich history of the United States of America.

The Pilgrims were a small, peculiar group of religious separatists, who were looking for both opportunity, and a place to practice their beliefs without persecution.

Moving at first to Holland in 1608, they found it to be less than their ideal home, for a variety of reasons, including a loss of freedom. From there they set sail for the New World and established one of the first permanent colonies in America.

The voyage was not easy, and when they reached land, a harsh winter was in store. Through a series of events and encounters that could only be described as providential did these pilgrims survive. And more than that, they became pioneers of a new country, paving the way for the future.
