Badrinath Ki Dulhania is a Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Shashank Khaitan, and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The film tells the story of Badrinath Bansal (Varun Dhawan), a boy from Jhansi who falls in love with Vaidehi Trivedi (Alia Bhatt), a girl from Kota.
